I am a Northern Ireland-based ceramicist with a background in ​Fine Art who grew up under the open skies of the Dee Estuary ​in North West England.

Focusing on colour and working in a tactile manner, I integrate ​pigmented porcelain into the body of my work. I create ​sculptural vessels using a range of techniques, including the ​potters wheel and building by hand, striving to express ​complexity in simple form.

Colour, light, rhythm, pattern, and repetition inform my work, ​reflecting nature and time, and supplying endless possibilities ​for new designs.

Material experimentation is an important part of the evolution ​of my work, leading to the discovery of exciting textural ​combinations that can be twinned with the smoothness and ​strength of colour that comes with porcelain.
